The Penguin Teachers’ Academy Newsstand App provides rich and engaging resources for teachers, librarians and educators, including the quarterly magazine Off The Shelf.
This app will be installed in the Newsstand folder on your iPad. It delivers every new edition Off The Shelf free of charge, and gives you access to topical teaching resources and units of work for use with primary and secondary school students.
The units of work, designed by Penguin Teachers’ Academy, include extensive teaching notes, ideas for lesson plans, classroom discussions and class activities. Each unit focuses on a single text, and is planned according to the requirements of the Australian Curriculum. Some units of work are provided free; premium units are available for purchase within the app.
